
Aminu Mohammed Adamu, a final year student of the Federal University Dutse (FUD), who criticised the Aisha Buhari, Nigerian First Lady, on Twitter has been invited by the President so as to meet with him after he was released unconditionally.
Aminu’s unwarranted arrest had sparked reactions among Nigerians including the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) who pleased with the Aisha but as it did not go well, vowed to shut down the country with protest so as to secure the released of the final year student.
The undergraduate, after he was beaten and humiliated, he was arraigned before Justice Halilu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court an was sentenced to Suleja Prison in Niger State.
The guardian to the student, Kabiru Shehu, confirmed that the student has been released and he is at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja and waiting to see President Buhari.
Aisha Buhari withdrew the case against the student as confirmed by the lawyer to student, C.K Agu.
