There was worry in Delta State on Friday after a three-storey building under construction collapsed in the Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.
Reports obtained by Naija News on Saturday morning revealed that the building situated in the Okotomi area, Okpanam, which was meant for a hotel, collapsed at about 6 pm yesterday.
However, there is uncertainty on whether there was any casualty in the incident.
This is the latest in the recent building collapses across the country.
Earlier in the week, a five-storey building also under construction collapsed in the Lifecamp area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Naija News recalls.
Emergency responders, including National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) officials, rescued no fewer than nine persons trapped in the Abuja collapsed building.
