BREAKING: Manchester United Closing In On André Onana Deal

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana with a fee now agreed between the two clubs, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

United are in the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper after allowing David de Gea to leave Old Trafford last month at the end of his contract.

United manager Erik ten Hag has set his sights on Inter Milan goalkeeper Onana, 27, who played a key role in his side reaching the Champions League final last season.

United are currently in negotiations with Inter over a deal for the Cameroon international and a fee has now been agreed, according to Romano.

“Manchester United are now closing in on Andre Onana deal as final verbal proposal has been made during talks today,” tweeted Romano.

“Understand it’s €50m (£42.7m) fee plus €5m (£4.2m) add ons. Structure of add ons being discussed then… done deal.
