A former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to a claim by the senator representing the Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, stating that President Bola Tinubu inherited a terrible economic situation.
Gists9ja recalls that on Tuesday, Oshiomhole, while fielding questions from journalists shortly after meeting with the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, said that the All Progressives Congress were trying to revamp the economy.
According to the former National Chairman of the ruling APC, some of the decisions taken by the current administration were the first steps in improving the economy.
He added that President Tinubu and his deputy had shown courage and determination to stop the corruption of the subsidy regime and in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), while appealing to Nigerians to be patient.
Reacting to Oshiomhole claims via Twitter, Sani stated that the senator’s submission means that that former president Muhammadu Buhari government was terrible.
He wrote, “Means Buhari’s government was terrible.”
