….as young Entertainers Partners 3R Govt Of His Excellency, Dist. Sen Hope Uzodinma (CON) on talent hunt in Imo communities
The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt Imo State, Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu has tasked the Imo Entertainment Practitioners who, on Tuesday 23rd July, visited him in courtesy, to use their media links and platforms to explore and bring on board young talents.
The down-to-earth Commissioner, Dr. Mandela earlier saluted their visit, commended the group for their unwavering efforts in nurturing and sustaining the entertainment spirit in the lives of the young people of Imo State. He confidently and fervently disclosed the 3E mantra (Elightenment, Engagement and Empowerment) of the Ministry, emphasizing that the Imo youth must be enlightened on good moral principles, engaged in impactful seminars and workshops and there after empowered with the power packed packages of the Pan Nigerian Youth Governor H/E Dist Sen Hope Uzodinma CON deemed worthy for all-round development and financial independence for Imo Youths.
The Honourable Commissioner, Dr. Mandela who extended hand of partnership to the young entertainers and referenced the giant strides ever displayed by the Youth-Loving Pan-Nigerian Youth Governor, also acknowledged the ugly plight of the young people of the State who are involved in craft making, requesting that such people should be brought to the attention of the Ministry in order to harness and empower them adequately.
Earlier in his speech, the leader of the group, Comr. Mayormike Okafor expressed profound gratitude to the young Commissioner for the hospitable gestures rendered to them.
Comr. Okafor, who lauded the Governor on his multifaceted achievements, emphasized the need to partner with the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt so as to achieve the inclusion of Imo Entertainers in most State government programs, promoting their talents with gradual empowement, having a State talent Hunt event like the IMOGOTTALENT will serve as a good opportunity to display their God-given talents.
A vote of thanks was accorded to the Honourable Commissioner by Comr. Gosky.
