Stakeholders of Oji River Local Government Area have unanimously commended the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, for his transformational leadership and impactful governance, officially endorsing him for a second term in office.
In a communique issued after a strategic forum held on Monday, April 28, 2025, the stakeholders lauded Governor Mbah for spearheading visible and measurable progress across the state. Highlights of his administration’s achievements include the construction of 260 Smart Schools, the establishment of 260 Primary Health Care Centers, modernization of the transportation system, comprehensive agricultural reforms, and far-reaching economic empowerment initiatives.
The forum particularly praised the administration’s commitment to peace and security, noting that Enugu State has remained a beacon of stability amid widespread national insecurity. According to the stakeholders, this secure environment has significantly boosted economic and social development.

Given these unprecedented achievements, the Oji River stakeholders confidently declared Governor Mbah’s re-election a “fait accompli,” citing overwhelming goodwill and popular support across the state. They pledged their full mobilization and unwavering support to ensure a landslide victory in the next gubernatorial election.
Reaffirming their commitment, the stakeholders expressed readiness to complement the government’s efforts through grassroots mobilization, constructive engagement, and community-driven initiatives aimed at sustaining the momentum of progress.
