Many are out clamouring and scrambling to fill the void left by the demise of the last Senator Representing the good people of Anambra South Senatorial District in the Hallowed upper Chambers of the National Assembly.
The question that should be in the Constituents’ minds are – 1. What’re the motives behind the scramble, 2. Considering the timing, is the intending Senator going to destroy or improve the chances of the constituency in the Senate?
The Senate could be likened to a honeycomb which symbolizes abundance and the rewards of collective effort, signifying prosperity and fulfillment depending on the mindset of the beekeeper which is the Senator. Will he see the position as an avenue for greed enrichment or for the betterment of the people?
The good people of Anambra South by all means should not be distracted in this all important decision making. History records are there to be checked, pharisee – philanthropists should be avoided at all costs so that the delicacy of the honeycomb would be safeguarded! Many come in different forms but just a little scratch on the surface and what lies beneath will be unveiled.
