A Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) camera recorded the moment a man entered a Sterling Bank branch in Anambra and stole a staff member’s mobile phone.
The footage was shared on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) by a user identified as @ChuksEricE.
In the video attached to the post, the man, dressed in a brown native attire, is seen pretending to be on a phone call as he moves around the bank premises.
He seems to be carefully surveying his surroundings while making an effort not to attract the attention of the bank staff.
Once he realized no one was paying attention, he quietly approached a table, took a mobile phone that had been left there, and swiftly left the bank after the theft.
