Victoria Fetuga, the mother of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, passed away on November 21, 2020, in her sleep at the age of 67, according to multiple reputable reports.
In a recent Facebook post, investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo addressed the rumours suggesting that Iyabo Ojo had her mother sacrificed to boost her fame. She clarified that the late Victoria Fetuga passed away due to complications from paranoid schizophrenia, not because she was used for stardom.
Olunloyo also alleged that Iyabo mistreated her 67‑year‑old mother up until her death, stating:
