Leading Anambra South Senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sir Azuka Okwuosa (Chinyelugo), has warmly welcomed the APC governorship candidate Owelle Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) and his running mate Senator Uche Ekwunife (PhD, Iyom) to Ekwusigo Local Government Area.
The visit, part of the party’s statewide thank-you tour following their emergence as the party’s flagbearers for the November 8, 2025 Anambra Governorship election, was met with excitement and firm pledges of support.
In a goodwill message, Sir Okwuosa expressed joy over their visit and congratulated the duo for clinching the APC ticket, describing their victory as well-deserved and a step toward liberating Anambra from poor governance.
“We have no doubt that you will emerge victorious in a landslide,” Okwuosa stated. “We believe in your sound leadership style, which will upturn the ugly governance experience Ndi Anambra are currently enduring.”
Welcoming the campaign train to Ekwusigo, Okwuosa described the local government as the home of distinguished business leaders, captains of industries, renowned academics, and resilient farmers. He encouraged the gubernatorial hopeful and his team to enjoy the cultural richness and hospitality of the area.
Sir Okwuosa further reaffirmed his commitment and that of Ekwusigo to the APC’s success in the forthcoming elections, emphasizing that Ikukuoma’s aspiration is a “collective aspiration.”
“May the land of Ekwusigo be a blessing to you,” he concluded.
