Kompany Breaks Silence on Musiala’s Condition After Club World Cup Knock with Donnarumma

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has given an update on Jamal Musiala after the midfielder suffered a leg injury during their FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final loss to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.

Recall that goals from Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele gave PSG the victory against Bayern Munich.

Musiala picked a leg injury during the encounter as he was stretchered off after a heavy collision with Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma

Speaking after the match, Vincent Kompany assured that Jamal Musiala would receive top medical care and suggested the midfielder may have suffered an ankle injury.

“The situation with Jamal was very emotional. We all saw what happened, and it didn’t look good,” Kompany said during his post-match interview.

“We’re hoping it’s not as serious as it appeared and that everything goes well. He’ll receive the best possible medical attention.”

“From just looking at the images, it appears to be some kind of ankle injury,” Kompany added. “But I’m not in a position to make any definitive diagnosis.”
