
A Nigerian woman based in Canada has taken to social media to share her struggles with unemployment, revealing that she has been job hunting for nearly two years without any success.
Identified as @prezzy_29 on TikTok, the woman posted an emotional video in which she expressed her frustration and desperation, stating that she’s willing to accept any type of job, including cleaning or dishwashing, just to survive.
“I’ve been in this country going to two years now and there’s no job. No job for me to even manage. I’ve been here for 20 months. What the heck is going on? Please, even if it’s cleaning or washing plates, I need it,” she cried out.She explained that despite trying everything within her power, she has not been able to secure any employment since arriving in the country.
The video quickly gained attention online, with many TikTok users and Nigerians in the diaspora flooding the comment section with messages of support, job suggestions, and words of encouragement.
