Popular Nigerian content creator and TikToker, Jarvis, has officially confirmed her engagement to fellow TikTok sensation, Peller — months after previously downplaying their relationship status.The couple first sparked speculation when 19-year-old Peller presented Jarvis with a ring during a livestream.
At the time, Jarvis dismissed it as a mere “promise ring” and denied any romantic involvement.
However, in a new interview, she revealed that the gesture was in fact a real proposal.
“It’s true that we are engaged. He actually engaged me — shockingly to me,” Jarvis stated, adding that she believes they’ll get married when the time is right. “There’s a lot in marriage, so you have to be careful.
”Explaining why she hasn’t been spotted wearing the ring, Jarvis said it didn’t fit her finger, so she decided to keep it safe at home.She also opened up about her initial doubts about Peller due to his online persona.
“I didn’t think we would match at all. But he’s actually a cool person offline. I’ve learned not to judge people based on social media,” she shared.
Jarvis noted that getting to know Peller beyond social media helped her see his true personality, which ultimately led to her embracing their relationship.
