Morocco responded after the break, with Sakina Ouzraoui netting the equalizer just 10 minutes into the second half.With no winner after 120 minutes, the match was decided by a penalty shoot-out.
The Atlas Lionesses converted their first four spot kicks, while Ghana faltered—Evelyn Badu and Comfort Yeboah both missed their attempts.Morocco will now face the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the final this Saturday.
Nigeria, the tournament’s most successful team, are aiming for a historic 10th WAFCON title.
