A Unifier par excellence and the no 1 choice of Ndi Anambra South for the Senate, Sir Azuka Okwuosa in recognition of Nnewi South as the headquarters of the Anambra South Senatorial District and also doubling as his second home, commenced his campaigns, consultations, reconciliation with aggrieved party members and courtesy visits at Nnewi yesterday, the 23rd of July, 2025 in preparations for the fast approaching August 16th 2025 Anambra South Senatorial bye-election.
In the fruitful meeting with the APC Anambra South members, the Senatorial hopeful expressed his sincere apologies, gave reasons certain approaches were utilized and sued for peace so that the legacy left behind by the fallen past Senator will be maximally upheld.
Rising from the reconciliation meeting, Okwuosa joined the Sir Arinze Awogu’s led Ikemba Front formidable Support group who solicited for a meeting with him for them to lend their support towards achieving victory for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Anambra South Senatorial bye-election. Speaking at the meeting, Chinyelugo assured them of their going to be part of the APC Anambra South Senatorial bye-election campaign organization where everything needed for the campaigns will be provided and urged them to put in their best to ensure victory for the party in their various booths and wards.
Thereafter, the campaign team moved to the palace of Obi of Nnewichi, His Highness Obi George Onyekaba JP (OBIDIUGWU) to pay homage, obtain his fatherly blessings and seek his support for victory. His Highness excitedly welcomed the Senatorial hopeful and his entourage assuring them that the same support he gave to late Sen. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah is exactly what he will offer him to ensure a total victory in his domain.
Chinyelugo went down memory lane of his good relationship with Ndị Nnewi and gave his words that he will ensure that due dividends of democracy will be accorded to them.
Leaving the palace, Chinyelugo’s entourage moved to St Andrews Anglican church DCC Nkwo Nnewi to pay a courtesy visit to Ven. Rev. Emmanuel CHIADIKOBI.
Chinyelugo in an emotion-laden voice lamented that Igbos are loosing out at the National level because they do not have Legislative Leaders who will connect them to the mainstream via the All Progressives Congress and requested for support from the Reverend.
Praying for the incoming Senator, Ven. Rev. Emmanuel CHIADIKOBI equating him with Cyrus in the Bible, assured him that God in whose hands lies Authority will give him victory despite all odds but he should not forget to use the authority given to him to better the lots of Ndị Anambra South.
Accompanying Sir Azuka Okwuosa were the Campaign Organization DG, Hon. Theo Nnorom, Hon. Obi Onwuachu, Owelle Mbaso, other high profiled personalities and the campaign media crew.
