Man Dies After Collapsing During Dispute Over Seized Motorcycle in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a community leader, popularly known as “Youngest Baale,” following the sudden death of Isiaka Kazeem, who reportedly collapsed during a dispute over the release of his confiscated motorcycle.

According to Gist9ja, the incident occurred in Imode, within Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.Police disclosed that the case was formally reported on Friday by a resident of Omoboriowo Street in Ejio Town.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Kazeem’s TVS motorcycle had been seized by the Baale on July 20. Since then, the deceased had made multiple visits to the community leader’s residence in an attempt to recover the motorcycle, but all efforts proved unsuccessful.

On July 24, following another failed attempt, Kazeem reportedly collapsed while returning home and died on the spot.Responding officers who visited the scene found that the Baale was absent from his residence. The area was documented, and Kazeem’s remains were deposited at the State Hospital mortuary in Ifo for autopsy.

Police authorities confirmed that efforts are ongoing to locate the fleeing Baale and recover the seized motorcycle as part of the continuing investigation.
