A woman identified as Joy Charles Ekong has expressed her reservations about watching films featuring Big Brother Naija star and rising Nollywood actress, Bambam.
Taking to Facebook, Joy shared that while she once admired Bambam’s unique speaking style, it has now become off-putting.
“Her tendency to drag out words makes her scenes feel monotonous and, honestly, a bit exhausting to watch. Of course, this is my personal opinion—it might not be the same for everyone,” she wrote.
Joy noted that she initially appreciated Bambam’s soft, elegant tone in Omoni Oboli’s Love in Every Word, but feels the actress has started to overdo it.
“I was one of those who initially praised Bambam for her feminine and eloquent way of speaking, especially in Love in Every Word. However, lately, I feel she’s been taking it too far,” she added.
Bambam rose to prominence in Nollywood following her role in the Omoni Oboli-directed film.
