Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has broken his silence on the viral video involving Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson.
Emmanson has recently made headlines after a video surfaced online showing her physically assaulting an airline staff and a security officer.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Keyamo condemned the circulation of the footage, which contained scenes of indecent exposure, and ordered that those responsible for releasing it be identified and sanctioned.

The minister disclosed that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has imposed an indefinite flight ban on Emmanson. She has also been charged to court and remanded in Kirikiri Prison after failing to meet bail conditions.
“The Police promptly arraigned her this morning at the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for criminal offences and remanded her at Kirikiri Prisons as she could not provide adequate sureties in court,” Keyamo’s tweet read.
