Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has tipped Chelsea to crash out of the UEFA Champions League at the group stage this season.
Speaking on The Overlap podcast, Carragher and his co-hosts made their predictions for the 2025/26 campaign. The former England defender believes the Blues will fail to progress to the knockout rounds.
“I don’t think Chelsea will qualify out of the Champions League group stage,” Carragher stated.
Chelsea return to the competition for the first time since 2023 after securing fourth place in the Premier League last season. The club has previously lifted the trophy twice in 2012 and again in 2021 under Thomas Tuchel.
