Apostle Suleman Slams Dangote Over Fatal Truck Accident in Edo

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministeries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has strongly criticized business mogul Aliko Dangote following the death of three persons in a road accident involving one of Dangote’s trucks in Auchi, Edo State, on Sunday.

In a post shared on Instagram, Apostle Suleman accused Dangote of negligence in managing his company’s operations, alleging that many of his trucks are handed over to untrained drivers, some of whom abuse drugs.

“@aliko_dangotegcon, you are not the only wealthy man in the world. Your recklessness in managing your business has destroyed families and made parents childless. Your truck just killed three people minutes ago in Auchi. You give trucks to little boys who are high on drugs and untrained. This won’t go unchallenged,” he wrote.

The incident comes barely a week after another Dangote truck hit Ruth otubor, the younger sister of reality TV star, Phyna, leaving her critically injured. Otabor, who had just graduated from university, lost one leg to amputation, and doctors fear she may lose the second.

Eyewitnesses said the truck driver fled the scene but was chased down and apprehended by a university lecturer who witnessed the crash.
