The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates seeking admission for the current academic year to re-upload their 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
The directive was issued on Monday through JAMB’s official bulletin shared on its verified X (Twitter) handle.
Why the Re-Upload is Necessary
According to the Board, the measure affects both candidates who had uploaded their results before the official release of the 2025 WASSCE and those who had not uploaded at all.
JAMB explained that it had cleared all previously uploaded results from its system to prevent errors and inconsistencies during the admission process. This means that even candidates who already uploaded must visit accredited centres and re-upload their results, whether or not there are differences between the earlier uploads and the final grades.
The statement partly read:
“Candidates who sat the UTME with awaiting results are required to upload their O’Level results as soon as they are released. Many began uploading the WAEC 2025 SSCE before the final results were released. To avoid any confusion, the Board cleared all prior uploads, and all candidates are now required to re-upload their results, whether or not they differ from the earlier results uploaded.”
Warning to Candidates
The examination body stressed that candidates who fail to comply risk losing their admission chances entirely.
“Please re-upload your 2025 SSCE result to the JAMB portal without delay,” the statement added.
