A Nigerian man who was kidnapped on his way home after buying fufu has reportedly been released following the payment of a ₦5 million ransom and the delivery of food items to his abductors.
This development was shared on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter)
According to the report, the man, who resides in Delta State, was abducted shortly after purchasing food he intended to eat.
Days after the news surfaced online, it was confirmed that he regained his freedom after his family met the kidnappers’ demands.
