Following the recent passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari in London at age 82, a video of a June 2024 prophecy by a Nigerian seer, Bright The Seer, has resurfaced and gone viral.
In the clip, which was originally posted on June 1, 2024, Bright claimed she received a divine revelation foretelling the death of a former Nigerian leader between June and July 2025.
Though she did not mention any names at the time, many now believe the prophecy referred to Buhari.
“The spirit of God revealed to me the death of an ex-leader of this country between this June to June-July next year,” she stated.
News of Buhari’s death was confirmed by his family and shared through a statement. In response, President Bola Tinubu ordered that national flags be flown at half-mast for seven days as a sign of respect.
As the prophecy continues to circulate online, it has sparked debate among Nigerians. While some hail Bright’s prediction as accurate, others have questioned the purpose of such revelations.
