Nnewi-A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, Chief Sir Azuka Okwuosa has been declared the winner of today’s APC Senatorial Bye-Election Primary for Anambra South.
Chief Sir Azuka Okwuosa scored a total of 470 votes, defeating Barr Obinna Uzor who scored 57 votes while 22 votes were declared invalid.
The Chairman of the APC Bye-Election Primary Committee who announced the result after sorting and collation of the Votes cast for each Aspirants at Anaedo Hall, the Venue of the Primary Election said Chief Sir Azuka Okwuosa having been scored the highest number of votes. Cast by delegates and having certified by the law and Party requirements, is declared the winner and is returned Nominated as the Candidate of APC for Anambra South Senatorial bye-election.
In his acceptance Speech, Chief Azuka Okwuosa said there is no winner, there is no loser. APC won. The greater battle is out there and APC as a party at the Centre is poised to win the election to continue the legacy of Late Most Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
