A Nigerian woman tragically lost her pregnancy after contracting a sexually transmitted infection from her husband, who was allegedly having an affair with his baby mama.
Despite the emotional and physical trauma that followed, the abuse escalated months later when the same man reportedly beat her into unconsciousness.
The harrowing details were shared in a now-viral post on X (formerly Twitter) by the woman’s close friend, who exposed a troubling pattern of deceit, domestic violence, and neglect following the woman’s rushed marriage in 2023.
According to the account, the husband continued his relationship with his baby mama after the wedding, frequently visiting the home they once shared. These encounters allegedly exposed his wife to repeated infections, eventually leading to an STD that caused her to lose a pregnancy.In February 2024, things took a darker turn when the woman was rushed to the hospital after a violent assault by her husband.
Despite visible bruises, bleeding, and swelling, the man allegedly downplayed the incident, claiming she was simply suffering from an asthma attack.
“She could barely speak,” the friend wrote.
“The nurses saw the bruises, the swollen lip, bleeding gums—yet he claimed she was just crying.”
The post went on to reveal that the woman had remained silent, enduring emotional manipulation and physical abuse in the name of keeping her home and protecting her mental peace.
“This man knew she had just lost her younger sister. After everything her family had been through, he wanted to put them through more pain,” the friend said.
“Silence is not always golden. Since he wants to play smart online, his offline demons will be exposed.”
Screenshots, voice notes, and photos were hinted at as forthcoming evidence to back the claims.
The disturbing story has triggered outrage online, with many demanding justice for the victim and calling for greater awareness of intimate partner violence and toxic relationships disguised as love.
