Nigerian forward Williams Sunday has completed a move to Egyptian Premier League outfit, Ghazl El Mahalla SC, from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Niger Tornadoes.
The 26-year-old attacker signed a two-year contract with the North African club, marking a significant step in his professional career.
Before his move, Sunday featured for several NPFL clubs, including Remo Stars, Warri Wolves, Kano Pillars, Akwa United, and Rivers United. Over his NPFL career, he made 85 appearances and netted 14 goals.
This transfer comes shortly after another Nigerian forward, Solomon Alade, also joined Ghazl El Mahalla from Ikorodu City FC last week, further highlighting the Egyptian club’s growing interest in Nigerian talent.
