A video showing a local government chairman in Edo State allegedly directing commercial drivers at a motor park to wear only All Progressives Congress (APC) branded shirts and caps has sparked reactions on social media.
In the video currently circulating online, the local government chairman is seen addressing drivers at the park while holding several APC-branded caps.
The chairman reportedly issued what he described as a “standing warning” to the drivers, directing them not to wear caps or other materials associated with political parties other than the APC.
Speaking to the drivers, he said:
“In this park, in Onitsha Park, I am here to give a standing warning to all my drivers: on no account should I see any driver put on any cap or material that does not belong to the party.”
