More than 20,000 supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Kwankwasiyya movement reportedly took part in a solidarity march in Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State.
The supporters marched through parts of the local government on Tuesday evening as part of efforts to mobilise residents ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The demonstrators reportedly used the march to call on residents to support the NDC presidential ticket of Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The procession drew attention in the area, with supporters displaying party and movement symbols while chanting messages in support of the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket.
The development comes amid increasing political mobilisation across Kano State as political parties and support groups continue to strengthen their grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 elections.
