A video showing a physical altercation between singer Kizz Daniel’s security detail and an interviewer with Advee Media has sparked reactions online.
The incident reportedly occurred backstage at the Supremacy Concert in Lagos shortly after Kizz Daniel concluded his performance.
In the footage, the reporter could be seen attempting to secure a brief interview with the singer as Kizz Daniel and his team appeared to be in a hurry to leave the venue.
However, after the security team declined the interview request, the reporter reportedly continued following the singer and his entourage.
The situation subsequently escalated, with one of the singer’s bodyguards seen physically pushing the interviewer to the ground.
Despite the fall, which reportedly damaged his microphone, the interviewer got back on his feet and continued pursuing the singer in an attempt to get the interview.
The media personality initially shared the footage online, criticizing the security team’s approach and drawing attention to the damage allegedly caused to his equipment.
However, in a subsequent video, he apologised for his conduct, admitting that he had been persistent in trying to secure the interview and acknowledging that his approach was unprofessional.
The incident has since generated mixed reactions online, with some users criticizing the security team’s physical response, while others questioned the interviewer’s decision to continue pursuing the singer after his request had been declined.
