A Nigerian man, Isaac Precious, who describes himself as an “End time preacher of the gospel of Christ,” has sparked reactions online after claiming that the use of lip gloss could prevent some Christian women from making heaven.
Precious made the claim in a Facebook post on Sunday, October 5, 2026, warning what he referred to as “daughters of Zion” against using lip gloss.
According to the preacher, the devil created lip gloss as a less obvious alternative because some Christian women who avoid brightly coloured lipstick would be more likely to use it.
“This is satan’s alternative of dragging many daughters of Zion to hell,” he wrote.
“He knows they won’t buy lipstick (coloured ones), so he decided to produce something that can’t be suspected easily.”
Precious further claimed that even women who are deeply committed to their faith could have their spiritual lives “polluted” by using lip gloss.
“Yes, you might burn for God but your fire will be polluted (a polluted fire), and nothing polluted can see Heaven,” he stated.
He concluded his message by quoting Acts 17:30 and urging his followers to repent.
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: God bless you and help your understanding in Jesus Name…. AMEN,” he wrote.
His claim has since generated reactions online, with social media users sharing differing views about his interpretation of Christian teachings and the use of cosmetics.
