A custom-made Rolls-Royce Phantom reportedly ordered by late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has arrived at his residence in Harare, Zimbabwe, weeks after his reported death in a helicopter crash.
According to local media reports, the luxury vehicle arrived on Friday, October 23, 2026, packed in a large wooden crate.
Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke, reportedly died in a helicopter crash on September 30, 2026. The couple were laid to rest on October 8.
The bespoke Rolls-Royce was said to have been ordered months before the businessman’s reported death. It had reportedly been undergoing international shipping and customs clearance before finally arriving in Zimbabwe.
Images circulating on social media showed the luxury vehicle bearing a personalised registration plate associated with Chivayo.
The businessman was widely known for his lavish lifestyle and collection of expensive automobiles, making the arrival of the vehicle after his reported death a subject of public interest.
The arrival of the car has drawn attention to the unusual timing, as the luxury purchase reportedly completed its journey to Zimbabwe weeks after the businessman and his wife were buried.
