Wrong Ways Of Drinking Water That You Need To Know

Water is an inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance, which is the main constituent of Earth’s hydrosphere and the fluids of all known living organisms (in which it acts as a solvent). Drinking water is probably the easiest activity out there. According to Healthline, Here are the 5 wrong ways of drinking water, that you need to know.

Not Drinking Enough: Your body mostly needs water and uses it in many ways. According to Healthline, Water helps in digestion and can ease and ward off constipation or trouble pooping. It also flushes out toxins, stops kidney stones from forming, and hydrates your skin. The recommended minimum daily amount is 11.5 cups for women and 15.5 cups for men.

Don’t drink water when standing: Never drink water while standing as this can cause arthritis. When you drink while standing, you unknowingly disrupt the balance of fluid in the body and this is when a great amount of fluid gets accumulated in the joints thereby triggering arthritis.

Not Taking Your Time: A glass or two of water is fine, but don’t wake up and chug a gallon. There’s no evidence it kick-starts your metabolism. And you don’t want to drink a lot before bed and spend all night in the bathroom, either. That disrupts your sleep. Sip slowly throughout the day instead. Experts recommend no more than 1 liter an hour.
