Daniel Bwala Reacts to Appointment by President Bola Tinubu

Daniel Bwala, a former campaign aide to ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has publicly reacted to his recent appointment by President Bola Tinubu.

On Thursday, November 14, 2024, President Tinubu announced that Bwala would serve as his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications within the State House.

A statement confirming the appointment was issued by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. The announcement also included the appointment of three other individuals to key positions in the administration.

In response to the news, Bwala took to his social media platform, X, to express his heartfelt gratitude to President Tinubu for entrusting him with such an important role. He described the appointment as a clear indication of the President’s confidence in his abilities and leadership qualities.

“I want to express my profound gratitude to Mr. President ⁦@officialABAT for the demonstration of confidence and trust by this appointment. I am indeed humbled and honoured to be called to serve our dear nation under the esteemed leadership of a courageous Commander-in-Chief and father,” Bwala shared in his post.

He further conveyed his commitment to fulfilling the responsibilities of his new role, vowing to deliver results and contribute positively to the administration’s goals.

In addition to reacting to his appointment, Bwala recently made headlines by claiming that some government officials do not fully support President Tinubu’s vision. He made these remarks while discussing the recent reshuffling of the President’s cabinet.
