Nigerian media personality Frank Edoho has denied allegations of domestic abuse and infidelity levelled against him by his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho.
In a lengthy statement shared on his Instagram page, Edoho described the allegations circulating online as false and revealed that the matter is now being addressed through legal channels rather than public exchanges on social media.
The broadcaster stated that he would not engage in online confrontations over the issue, stressing that he preferred to allow the appropriate legal process to determine the facts.
Frank Edoho’s personal life has remained a subject of public attention following the collapse of his second marriage.
His first marriage was to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, a union that lasted from 2003 to 2010 and produced three children.
Following the end of that marriage, he married Sandra Edoho in 2013, and the couple later welcomed two children in 2014 and 2016.
The breakdown of his second marriage later became public knowledge, with Edoho confirming that the relationship officially ended in December 2022.
He previously described the separation as one of the most difficult periods of his life, revealing that he temporarily withdrew from public attention to heal privately.
In the aftermath of the separation, both parties became subjects of online controversies and counter allegations, including claims of infidelity and abuse.
Sandra Edoho had accused the media personality of cheating and domestic violence, including allegations that she was threatened during the marriage.
However, Frank Edoho firmly rejected the accusations and maintained that he would not participate in a public battle over the matter.
According to him, the appropriate place to determine the truth is through legal and investigative institutions where evidence can be objectively reviewed, rather than through social media debates and public sentiment.
He also lamented that innocent individuals, including colleagues and business associates, had been dragged into the controversy despite having no direct involvement in the family dispute.
The television host further appealed for privacy for his children, urging the public to shield them from the ongoing online discussions surrounding the marital crisis.
Part of his statement read:
“Over the past few days, a number of grave allegations concerning my person have been circulated in the public space.
“I am fully aware of the concern, commentary, and attention this has generated. Let me state, clearly and unequivocally, that the allegations made against me are false.
“At moments such as this, experience teaches that not every accusation merits a public contest, nor does every provocation require an answer in the court of public opinion.
“There are times when restraint is not weakness but wisdom, and this is one of them. I have chosen to address these issues through the appropriate legal channels, where facts, not noise, will prevail.
“Because these issues are now the subject of ongoing legal and investigative processes before the relevant authorities and the courts, it would be inappropriate for me to make further substantive comments at this time.”
