The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of one Monday Nnime for allegedly stabbing his brother, John, to death in the state.
Gists9ja learnt that Okoh and Nnime had a misunderstanding over N1500 and during the argument, Monday stabbed his younger brother’s neck.
Policemen attached to the Denton Police Station reportedly arrested Monday after he perpetrated the crime.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin said John was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Metta, for treatment but was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
“The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba. Right now, there is no date when the suspect will be charged to court yet.”
