The Russian side will NOT be involved in the Euro 2024 Qualifying draw in Frankfurt on October 9th.
Furthermore, the country’s National and club sides will NOT be welcomed back to European football until the war with Ukraine ends. The Russian Union of Football has confirmed this exclusion.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, UEFA has taken strong measures against the country, in particular by prohibiting its clubs from competing in the various European competitions. The organization chaired by Alexander Ceferin has also taken the same measures for the national team. As a result, the latter is excluded from Euro 2024.
