The Big Brother Naija reality TV show is at risk of being banned.
Several petitions and agitations have greeted the show, accusing it of offending Nigeria’s cultural and traditional values.
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria recently said: “It is duty-bound on all well-meaning Nigerians to also join the call for this regulation before we all lose hold of the truth.”
Fans of Big Brother Naija reality TV show in Nigeria may not be able to view the show soon.
There is a series of outcry from some government and religious organisations calling on the legislature to ban the TV show Similarly, there is also a call for cross-dressers across the federation to be apprehended as it is against the norms and culture of Nigeria.
