According to India Today, Negi died on Saturday, days after casting his vote in the upcoming Himachal Pradesh assembly election by post.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences over Negi’s death.
Born in July 1917, Negi voted for the first time in 1951 in the general election of India.
