For eleven months between year 2000 and 2001, Frank led the Enugu Community County Council as the State Coordinator. This was when he visited the then two hundred and nine (209) communities in Enugu State.
According to him, this was where “the passion for service to the people lit by my early mentors became an incandescent fire. I saw first-hand the primitive and agonizing living conditions of our people and felt the pain of their deep yearning for the most basic needs of human existence. I committed myself to a promise to be accountable for changing their circumstances and life chances by dedicating my skills, competence, knowledge and capacity to serving the people. This state of affairs remains true even today, almost two decades later. However, the time to change it is now. I solemnly reiterate my promise to prioritize the dignity, well-being, and welfare of every indigene and resident of Enugu – onye aghanna nwanne ya!”
Frank remains committed to ensuring the autonomy of Local Governments and working with traditional and local leaders to ensure that our people are well served.
