Frank Nweke Jr, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Enugu State, on Friday took his campaign to ndi Enugu in markets across Awgu and Oji River Local government Areas.
Nweke, who insists on direct interactions with ndi Enugu at all levels, restated the commitment of the All Progressives Grand Alliance to make good on the promises made to transform the fortunes of the people across the State.
He urged the people to vote APGA and usher in a new dawn free from graft, looting and negligence of duties as practised by the incumbent People’s Democratic Party.
In his interactions, Nweke revived the hope of working infrastructure, potable water, good education, healthcare and more, assuring them that he could be held accountable.
Traders across the markets shared their fears and aspirations with the gubernatorial candidate as well.
Chinyere and Ngozi were emphatic in their decision to vote for the APGA governorship candidate, citing the failures of PDP and Nweke’s stellar track records as their reason.
Eunice Ezeeyi, a staunch supporter of APGA, assured him of her vote, requesting that he ensures new shops are built in the market when he becomes the governor.
Odirachukwumma Uzoigwue, a cobbler who interacted briefly with Nweke shared his disappointment in politicians but promised to canvass votes for him with the plea that he keeps his word.
Nweke’s market tour continues in a bid to engage residents at all levels in Enugu State.
