The Nigeria Airforce plane departed on Saturday night for the evacuation of Nigerians stranded in Sudan from Egypt.
Food, water, medications, and other basic needs were loaded inside the aircraft.
The Federal Government has commenced the evacuation of about 5,500 Nigerians, including students stranded in Khartoum and other cities in Sudan, releasing N150m for 40 buses to convey citizens from Sudan to Cairo in Egypt.
