Chris Ekemezie, the lawyer of the governor-elect of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, has blasted the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, for saying that the NYSC under Peter Mbah’s possession is fake.
According to Chris Ekemezie, Peter Mbah was posted by the NYSC to serve at the Nigerian Ports Authority in 2002, but when he got there, he was rejected by the management of the Nigerian Ports Authority.
Chris Ekemezie went on to reveal that after Peter Mbah’s rejection, he went back to the NYSC and informed them that he was rejected at his primary place of assignment. Peter Mbah went ahead to search for a place that would accept him and he found a law firm.
Chris Ekemezie stated that the NYSC posted Peter Mbah to the law firm where he served. However, after some few months, Peter Mbah wrote the NYSC and sort permission to go and complete his law school before coming back to complete NYSC.
Chris Ekemezie noted that the NYSC accepted to allow Peter Mbah to go the law school. According to Chris Ekemezie, after Peter Mbah finished his law school, he came back and completed his service and NYSC have him a certificate after the completion of his NYSC.
