The general public is hereby informed that the 2023 Oil and Coconut Palms Solution Agenda will commence soon.This initiative is part of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s Agro-Economic Transformation drive, enunciated in his Manifesto.
The initiative will revolutionise palm produce with the associated wealth creating value chain.
About 400 households from each of Anambra State 326 electoral wards are targeted this year to be beneficiaries of a combination of Oil and Coconut palm seedlings.
This design gives us ownership of the noble task of reviving the Oil palm industry and exploring the Coconut palm opportunities, thus establishing a sustainable state of economic security and viable livelihood for all and sundry.
To ensure effective implementation of this, government is urging the President Generals and village Chairmen in collaboration with leaderships of kindreds to generate verifiable lists of potential beneficiaries – one per household.
The list which should comprise the relatively poor and vulnerable households according to their kindreds should be forwarded to the Ward Councillors.
Support our visionary Governor to lay the foundation for a sustainable bottom-up agro economic poverty alleviation scheme.
