At Wednesday’s proceedings, Justice K.M Akano, who led the panel, reserved judgment to a date to be communicated to the parties.
The candidate of the Labour Party, Chijioke Edeoga, is challenging the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission that Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party won the March 18 governorship poll.
The LP lawyer, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), urged the tribunal to grant his client’s prayer to unseat Mbah.
But Mbah’s lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), prayed the court to dismiss the petition for lacking in merit.
