Just In: Fire Guts World Bank Project Office In Yobe [Photo]

The Damaturu, Yobe State coordination office of the Multi-Sectoral Crisis Recovery Project, (MCRP), a World Bank assisted program, has been gutted by fire.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out at the office located along Potiskum Road at about 12:40 pm on Sunday.

As of the time of filling in this report, there is no official statement from the coordination office on what caused the fire outbreak.

It took the efforts of fire fighters from Yobe State Fire Service to quench raging fire.
