President Bola Tinubu has announced a 50% cost reduction for buses and free train rides starting from December 21st to January 4th for inter-state travels.
This is aimed at cushioning the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.
The president added that train rides will be absolutely free beginning on 21 December and ending on 4 January 2024.
The presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, made this known in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
