Nsugbe- On the auspicious occasion of this year’s Mothering Sunday, the distinguished Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Sen. Dr. Tony Nwoye has extended his warm greetings to all Anglican Mothers in Anambra North, extolling them for the critical roles they play in shaping the society, starting with their place in the family which is the heartbeat and the nucleus
of every society.
Distinguished Senator Dr Tony Nwoye while celebrating with mothers as precious gift from God, he commended them for their various support which contributes significantly to tranquility of homes and society.
“May I join in the auspicious occasion of today’s mothering Sunday aimed at celebrating our Mothers.
“Mothers are special gift from God. In fact, a day is never satisfactory to celebrate the onerous attributes of motherhood. We unreservedly appreciate their love, affection, care and gratitude for their inestimable roles in the family and nation building”, Dr Tony Nwoye said.
Continuing in his congratulatory message, the distinguished Senator observed that mothers are not where they should be yet in different spheres of life, however, he pledged to do everything within his legislative powers to consistently assist women and mothers to prove that they can hold their own on all fronts, and in all endeavours.
While praying the almighty God to grant all mothers peace, joy and satisfaction, as they celebrate today and always; Dr. Tony Nwoye urged Mothers to do more on the aspects of moulding right characters and focussing on proper parenting.
