The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt Imo State, Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu has under the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, yesterday Tuesday 9th 2024, expressed his unalloyed support for the Development and Well-being of the Imo Niger Delta People. Promises to use his good office to gather Imo youth with an Orientation program, so as to educate them more on virtues of being good Imolites and citizens of our great nation.
The ever determined and pragmatic Commissioner highlighted that the above measures will Indubitably go along way in eradicating the bordering issues of, Oil Bunkering, Illegal refining and other forms of Criminalities in the Niger Delta Areas of Imo State.
A historic summit themed: Fight Against illegal Oil Bunkering, illegal Oil Refining and All Forms of Criminality in the Niger Delta Areas of Imo State, held at the Royal Place (Chilis Bar and Grill) New Owerri, Imo State, where Imo Honourable Commissioners, Notable Personalities, critical Stakeholders of the region (Ohaji Egbema, Oguta and Oru East), Security Heads, men and women of goodwill, gathered to discuss and possibly, profer lasting solutions to the heinous crimes perpetrated by misguided youth in the areas of the region.
Hon. Dr. Mandela in his remark lauded the Host of the event/Honourable Commissioner for Niger Delta Affairs and Intelligence, Hon. Dr. Henry Uzor Okafor, stressing that the engagement meeting that focuses on issues bordering on the development and the way forward for the long neglected region by every successive administration will unquestionably be achieved under the 3R mantra of the Prosperity Shared Government of our Youth loving Governor, the Father of Imo youth and the Pan Nigerian youth Governor, H/E Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma who has unleashed multifaceted development across the oil-rich region and reiterated his resolve to reanimate the neglected political assignments of the past regimes.
