Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has confidently stated that he will leave office as an unburdened man, free from any fear of being targeted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) or any other body.
Speaking during the conclusion of the Feast of Christ the King Mass at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, the governor reiterated his unwavering commitment to the progress of Imo State, emphasizing that he has remained true to his promises and his covenant with God.
In a bold assertion, Uzodimma challenged anyone who claims he has acted improperly to provide concrete evidence, declaring, “I will leave office as a free man, sleep soundly, and remain unafraid of anyone, including the EFCC.” He made it clear that throughout his tenure, he has not strayed from the promises he made to the people of Imo.
