FCT Police Retrieve Abandoned SUV in Abuja, Call on Owner for Verification

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has recovered an abandoned Toyota Prado Land Cruiser Jeep during a routine patrol in Abuja.

Gists9ja reports that According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Josephine Adeh, the vehicle was found on December 31, 2024, along David Ejoor Street, opposite Adisa Estate, Apo-Gudu.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle had no registration number. Additionally, a silver-colored eagle insignia, video/audio cables, and a car stereo remote were recovered from the vehicle. Further investigations revealed that the engine and chassis numbers had been removed from the vehicle, and the windscreen appeared to have been recently replaced.

The vehicle has been towed to the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Garki II. SP Adeh called on the public, especially those with missing vehicles matching the description of the recovered Toyota Prado Jeep, to visit the command for verification and potential recovery.
